IFDF Membership Options

Firm Member

  • Dues are based on the total number of calls for all locations owned by the Firm Member. Each Firm Member, regardless of the number of locations of the firm, shall be entitled to cast one vote on business before the Association's general membership. Beginning with the 2023-2024 membership year, fees range from $300 - $1425/year for the main firm location.
  • In addition to its tiered firm membership fee for the main location (see the bulleted point above), a firm with one or more branch locations will pay $150/branch location, which entitles the firm to one free staff membership (a $60 value) at each branch location.
  • *To set up membership for additional locations of the firm, please join as a Firm Member first, then sign up each Firm Branch below. Please indicate the staff person at each location who will receive the one free staff membership at that location. 
  • Membership year runs from September 1 - August 31.

Firm Branch

  • Firm Membership is required prior to the addition of a branch location.
  • Membership year runs from September 1 - August 31.

Individual Member (Not Affiliated with IFDF Firm)

  • Individual Members may not own a funeral establishment, direct disposal establishment or cemetery.
  • This membership category applies to licensed FD/E contractors and retired funeral professionals as well.
  • Individual Members have no voting privileges on business before the Association's general membership. Individual Members may serve on committees or on the Board of Directors.
  • Individual members can earn up to 6 continuing education credits at no cost per membership year toward the 12 CEUs needed for biennial license renewal by attending the monthly "Straight Talk"  webinars/continuing education courses. Members may earn additional CEUs from the "Straight Talk" webinar series per year, but will need to pay $50 for each additional continuing education credit per membership year.
  • Fee of $90/year.
  • Membership year runs from September 1 - August 31.
 Join as Individual Member (Not Affiliated with IFDF Firm)

Individual Member (Affiliated with IFDF Firm)

  •  Individual Members may not own a funeral establishment, direct disposal establishment or cemetery.
  • Individual Members have no voting privileges on business before the Association's general membership. Individual Members may serve on committees or on the Board of Directors.
  • Fee of $60/year. 
  • Membership year runs from September 1 - August 31.

Affiliate Member

  • Affiliate Members have no voting privileges on business before the Association's general membership. Affiliate members may serve on committees.
  • Low membership fees of $262.50/year (2nd year will be prorated if joining mid-year)
  • As a member benefit for 2025-2026,  each affiliate may place one free ad/year in one issue of the e-newsletter. 
  • Membership year runs from September 1 - August 31.
