Organized in 1992, the Independent Funeral Directors of Florida (IFDF) is a statewide membership association representing more than 200 independently-owned funeral, crematory and cemetery
firms operating in Florida. Our association works tirelessly to strengthen members’ ability to serve before and after a death through professional development, legislative advocacy, continued education, and the IFDF Master Trust (I-Trust).

IFDF gives a voice to Independents across the state. We work to not only enhance and perpetuate independent funeral home, crematory and cemetery firms in Florida, but also to protect consumers and provide transparency within the death care industry.

Mission

To promote, preserve, and protect independently owned and operated funeral homes, crematory and cemetery firms in the state of Florida. Together, we are "FAMILIES SERVING FAMILIES."
