About Us:
Milam Funeral Home, Inc. is a family-owned traditional funeral home dedicated to serving families with compassion and professionalism during their time of need. We are seeking a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join our tea.
Responsibilities:
- Perform embalming and restorative art procedures with the utmost care and respect
- Arrange and direct funeral services in accordance with families' wishes and preferences
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations related to funeral services
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide compassionate support to grieving families
Qualifications:
- Current Florida Funeral Director and Embalmer license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with technology
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
